When We Are Closed

Between 08:00 – 08:30, 13:00 – 14:30 and 18:00 – 18:30 (except Bank Holidays) please call the surgery and dial option 1 to speak to the doctor on duty.

Between the hours of 18:30 and 08:30 Monday to Friday and on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, if you require urgent medical assistance that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please call 1-1-1. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Training Closures

Please note:  To enable the surgery team to undertake all the necessary mandatory training that is required by both the clinical and admin staff, the surgery closes on 10 afternoons over the year.

During these times an enhanced 111 service is available to patients should they need medical attention before the surgery re-opens the following day.

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
